We have weekend dives throughout the summer as well as a few weekends over the winter. Locations include places like Poole, Plymouth, Weymouth, the Farne Islands, and Cornwall. For those of you who have not tried it, British diving can be great fun. The visibility is not as bad as you might think and can even be very good, have a look at some of our UK Galleries. The water temperature can go completely unnoticed in a thicker wet suit or a drysuit. There are many exciting dives around our coasts, with lots of wrecks and lots of fascinating marine life.

View Dates

Farne Islands, Northumberland

Come and dive with the seals! Some of Britain’s best diving takes place around the Farne Islands. The islands themselves offer fantastic scenery and amazing seabird and seal colonies. In the water the seals make fantastic dive companions, often coming up to nibble and tug on divers’ fin tips or even mouthe your offered hand like a puppy. We have also been able on previous trips to stroke, tickle and even hug the seals underwater. Last year there was a very cute blonde one that I got on very well with, you can see her picture in the gallery but no sending her e-mails, she's not that sort of seal! Even apart from the seals the diving is great, there are some good wrecks and the marine life is extremely abundant. The trips to the Farnes are '3 day weekends' in order to get the most out of the longer travelling involved. The cost is £70 a day for 2 dives, with equipment available for hire seperatly. We have booked B&B at £25 a night. See our Farne gallery for some of last years seal photos and video.

Poole, Weymouth & Swanage

Poole offers a good range of dive sites, from relatively shallow wrecks and reef to exciting fast drift dives and deeper wrecks. Being relatively close to London and with a variety of types of dive it makes an ideal location for both experienced and new divers. It is also an ideal place to do the advanced open water course, specialities or just to try UK diving. Click here to read some more about the dive sites.

The cost of boat diving in Poole is £65 per day for divers who do not require an instructor to dive with them. This cost does not include equipment hire for which the daily rates are £3 for a second tank, £5 for each of BC, regulator and first tank, weights £3 or £15 for the lot. Suit hire is extra, at £10 per day for a wet suit or £20 for a dry suit. Instructor supervised dives are £85 per day. (Do check that it wouldn’t work out better, economically, to do a course whilst being supervised by an instructor).Trips to Poole are normally for two days although it may be possible to do just one.

Plymouth. Experienced divers only

Plymouth generally offers clearer waters, great wrecks (Scylla & Jame Egan Lane) and spectacular scenic dives such as Eddystone Rocks and Hand Deeps. These rock pinnacles are rich in marine life and are covered in jewel anemones and cup corals. The cost of 3 days diving is £225 with gear hire costs being the same as for Poole. As this trip is run over the August bank holiday it is important to book early so that accommodation can be confirmed. We have booked B&B at £25 a night. Click here to read some more about the dive sites.

Scapa Flow, Scotland. Experienced divers only

Renowned for its wreck diving, Scapa is the final resting place of some of the German WW1 fleet. Some of these spectacular wrecks are over 600ft long. There are 6 days of boat diving for £250 (accommodation and transport are at extra cost). The trip is mainly wreck diving and suitable only for experienced divers. For more information look at Scapa details.

Inland Sites

We have regular training dives that are equally suitable for fun or practice. These dives are open to all levels; just let us know what you would like to do. Two accompanied dives including all gear hire except a suit is £35 plus the site entrance fee (from £6). We are constantly adding new dates so please check our calendar regularly.
